Family Medicine Residency
Curriculum
Leadership & Advocacy
As a resident at Bayhealth, you have the unique opportunity to be the best possible advocates for your patients and leaders in the community. In an underserved community, you will make an impact on patients’ lives and community health even in your first year of the program.
You Shape the Program
Unlike most residency programs, when you join the inaugural class of residents, you’ll have a chance to mold and influence patient care for years to come. Working hand in hand with faculty, you will create a legacy that will be valued by the community for generations.
6 Months of Electives
Compared to other programs, we pride ourselves on our extensive time spent in electives. We understand giving you the time and freedom to explore and create your path is incredibly important. Your passion will drive your program and your career.
Curriculum
With 20 weeks of electives and broad exposure to various community needs, you will have a greater opportunity to follow your passions and shape your career.
Night float occurs for 1 week during each block of Inpatient Medicine, ICU and OB.
