Family Medicine Residency

Lauren Mixon, BS is the program coordinator for the Family Medicine residency program. Lauren has been with Bayhealth for over 11 years within different departments. As a Delawarean, more specifically from the Milford area, Bayhealth has always been her go to for any type of healthcare. “I knew when I was in high school, I loved healthcare, but I want sure what area to go into. I enjoyed the patient care side as a nursing assistant, but I also loved the teaching side with the education department as a Professional Development Associate. I realized I loved supporting staff and being a part of staff members growth as they are the front-line staff for patients” Lauren received her bachelor’s from Wilmington University in Organizational Management in 2021. Her master’s in healthcare administration is the next step her for career! When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters & chocolate lab.
