Curriculum
Our fellows will be given the structure and supervision to ensure that each of them is a well-trained physician in hematology and medical oncology. Our curriculum consists of core rotations, mandatory rotations and electives. Each fellow must complete the requirements necessary to achieve ABIM board certification.
Year 1
- 6 months of Inpatient Hematology/Oncology
- 6 months of Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
Year 2
- 6 months of Inpatient Hematology/Oncology
- 1 month of Hem/Pathology
- 1 month of Lab/Transfusion Medicine
- 2 months of Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
- 2 Electives
Year 3
- 11 months of Clinical Research/Electives
- 1 month of Bone Marrow Transplant at Penn
